Pat Douglas

Pat started her real estate sales career in 2005 in Remuera as she had returned to the suburb in 2001 after spending some years in Takapuna and Milford renovating her properties.

After buying her first property in Ellerslie at the age of 22, Pat has bought and sold many homes around Auckland, renovating and upgrading them and doing most of the work herself. "My father taught his daughters how to do home improvements and also had vegetable gardens. We can see potential in tired homes that others ignore." Her experience has given her useful insight as to her clients' needs.

Joining Ellerslie office in 2007, a suburb surrounded by Greenlane, One Tree Hill, Penrose, Mt Wellington, Panmure and Remuera, Pat has enjoyed selling in this convenient location, helping many first home buyers with researching and purchasing what is often their biggest financial decision. Her patience and understanding has led to Pat selling some homes up to 3 times over her 19 years in real estate.  At the other end of the spectrum, with many seniors moving to retirement homes or downsizing, Pat has supported them greatly when selling and moving during this often very stressful time in their lives. Going the extra mile is natural for Pat as client satisfaction is her priority.

Pat lived in Malaysia and England before coming to Auckland in her teens and has seen many changes over that time.  “Auckland has grown to enjoy a cosmopolitan atmosphere with the many nationalities of people living here.  I love hearing the many languages in our colourful city and the choice of ethnic foods available. Ellerslie is blessed with many cafes, bars and pubs and the train station makes it easy to commmute or visit clients without stress.
